I couldn't match the energy. My hair wouldn't let me be great. But. But we in here, Bradley. Let's. Let's talk, man. What we got going on?
[00:01:08] Speaker B: We are in here. Hey, first and foremost, folks, It's Cyber Monday.

I don't know if you got links to Wayne or I. I don't know, man.
[00:01:37] Speaker A: We're just right now throw some links in the description. For sure.
[00:01:40] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:01:41] Speaker A: So, yeah, no, for sure.
[00:01:42] Speaker B: Just had to plug that. That's my only plug.
[00:01:45] Speaker A: Hey, man, listen, that's a good plug, man. Make sure you guys take advantage of that.
Get that, get that ETR gear, man. Get that, that E2M gear, that premium gear. We got some premium gear and I get that bad gear. There's some bad gear in there too, man. So everything in the store, man, make sure I go check out those codes, man, and. And take full advantage of that, man. So you talk about fourth quarter, brother. So I'm gonna give you a quick story. I know we kind of short on time today. When I was in middle school, we played arch rival, which was Midway, Midway Middle. And you know, I was. I was an eighth grader and. And fourth quarter hitting everybody on this sideline said four.
It scared. No, no, no, what out of me. I'd never seen that before.
But they were excited about the fourth quarter and at the moment, I was like, like what? That used to be the scariest point of the game for me. Like, I.
There's so many ways I can go with this, Brad. But just thinking about the fourth quarter and. And they were prepared and excited for it, and it was a place of fear for me, man. So let's. Let's dig into this thing.
[00:02:52] Speaker B: Dude, I'm glad you brought that up because this is something that we actually did as a football team. We, you know, fourth quarter, man, we get excited and that's a mindset, right? It's a mindset for winners. It's a mindset for those that don't win. I don't. I hate the word losers, so I just say that. I say it that way. Yeah, but when it comes to fourth quarter, man, it's all about mindset. And when you can convince yourself that it's game time in the fourth quarter, like, that's how you win. Because you, you know, if you think about a year, like a year is a long time and, you know, it's hard to break it up into four quarters, but if you can, you know, go. Go with a little smaller version, like a football game or something like that, it's a little easier. But when you get into the final segment or the final minutes of the game, or the year or the days rather, there's a. There's a few certain things that I really want everybody to think about.
And. And when you get into that fourth quarter shift, it's convincing yourself that it's. It's the fourth quarter, but it's the beginning of the game, right? You gotta find that energy. And to get that energy, sometimes you just gotta celebrate. Celebrate what was, celebrate what is, and celebrate what's coming, right? And this is something that I emphasized during Thanksgiving week because a lot of us, we celebrate our wins, we celebrate the victorious moments that we have in our lives, but we fail to celebrate our losses. And the reason, Dwayne, that I like to celebrate losses is because when we lose, that's when we learn, right? Yeah, we. You get knocked down, you either stay down or you learn how to get back up. And every time you get back up, well, I'll back up a step. Every time you get knocked down, you get knocked down a different way, right? There's no two ways you get knocked down the same exact way. But when you get up, you off, you also don't get up the same exact way every single time. You learn different ways, different strategies to get back to your feet. And a lot of that just stems from celebrating. So celebrate past victories, that's great. But celebrate past loss. And when you can get into that mindset.
Fourth quarter, man, I'm excited for what's coming.
[00:04:50] Speaker A: I love it. I love it, man. Yeah, that's, you know, the, the. The thing I think, you know, I'm sorry for quoting Jay Z all the time, but, you know, one of the things he said in Iran was, you know, you know, even when I lose, I win because, you know, there's a lesson in it. You know, even in defeat, you know, he's like. It's like a ball when you. The harder you bounce it down, the higher it shoots back up, you know, so that, that's. That's that mindset you were talking about, man. Just being able to, you know, have that.
Not look at it as a negative. Not look at it as, you know, you know, I wasted time or, you know, this the fourth quarter, you know, And. And so this is also. Brad, this is also the time where the ultimate Monday warriors come out Monday. Not the regular Monday Warriors, January 1st or whatever that day. Monday is in January.
Yeah, we don't want you to wait for that.
Where the fifth is actually the first Monday in January.
The fifth is the first Monday.
[00:06:01] Speaker B: Oh, is it November?
Come up Monday. Okay.
[00:06:05] Speaker A: Yeah. So my birthday is the first Monday.
[00:06:08] Speaker B: No, that can't be right. My birthday is on a Sunday.
[00:06:10] Speaker A: I can't be right. I'm looking at it right now.
[00:06:12] Speaker B: You're looking at November or January.
[00:06:14] Speaker A: I'm looking at January. January 5th is the first Monday of the year.
[00:06:19] Speaker B: I'm a month. I'm a month back. Idea.
[00:06:21] Speaker A: Oh, you're thinking about December.
[00:06:22] Speaker B: In December.
[00:06:23] Speaker A: No, December is not the ultimate Monday. Yeah, Ultimate Monday is the first Monday of the year.
[00:06:28] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:06:29] Speaker A: So that's what I'm saying. Like, so in the fourth quarter, don't throw in the towel waiting for that January 5th. Instead, you know, get my P.O. box. You can send me some gifts.
[00:06:42] Speaker B: But.
[00:06:45] Speaker A: But for real, like, you know, this is the time. Like you mentioned, it's four quarter. Like, this isn't the time to tuck your tail. And like, you know what? I'm just gonna slide the rest of the year and we'll start fresh. No, no, start today.
[00:06:58] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:06:58] Speaker A: Start right now.
[00:06:59] Speaker B: Yeah. And you know, I. I hate to reference sports because a lot of the folks listen to us, don't really relate to sports very well, but. But life is almost like playoffs, right? Like, if you're gonna. If you're gonna just tuck your tail and back out in the Fourth quarter, like, waiting for the next game. It's the playoffs, baby. Like, you don't get another game by tucking the tail and saying, ah, deuces, you have to go all in on the fourth quarter. You got to go all in on this game to get to the next game.
So I think that just comes down to intent, right? And being on purpose with the final ticking moments of the year.
And really, when you're so. I think we talked about this last year, right about this time of the year, you are setting 2026 up right now. Like, you don't set 2026 up on January 5th or January 1st. You set it up right now like you get the foundation, the structure, all that base level stuff like the, the, the motivation, the discipline, the resilience, all that set up in the fourth quarter of the previous game that once you get into the first, the first quarter of the next game or the next year, guess what, folks, you already had that foundation. Now it's about building momentum. Now it's about building confidence. Now it's about building courage and taking everything that you learned in December, November, October, you know, and so on, so forth and saying, oh, wait a minute. These folks are just. So. Here's what, here's what happens a lot of times deep, where a lot of people get frustrated on the first of the year, the fifth of year, the first Monday of the year, the masses rush to the gym, right? Oh, yeah, rushed to the gym. And if it's, if I'm trying to establish my foundation, some confidence and courage on day one, what happens is there's another hundred trying to do the exact same thing. And then all of a sudden, at the same time, everybody starts looking lateral. And when you start to look lateral, because I haven't set up my foundation in the fourth quarter of the last game, I start to compare myself. I get discour.
And that's what happens. And you know, what's that?
[00:08:56] Speaker A: It's a cycle.
[00:08:57] Speaker B: It's a, it's a vicious cycle that we get in. And I talked about this with a, with a bunch of kids that I had last week about overall wellness. Overall wellness is in, is an internal thing. But unfortunately, in the society that we live in, we do things for likes, we do things for viewership, we do things to compare ourselves to others. And when we start to do that, and that's what happens if you start on January 1st, we start to compare ourselves. We take pictures. Hey, everybody, look at me. I'm starting my journey. We're not, we're not posting on social media, for our own sake. We're doing that so our ex sees us or our grandma. Grandpa sees us, or, you know what I'm getting at. And all of a sudden, we start to spiral out of control with our wellness and our overall journey because we're not doing it for a personal sake. We're doing it for. For external validation.
[00:09:50] Speaker A: No. 100, man, that. That is spot on.
And we see it time and time again, year in, year out. So your message from us is, let's stop. Let's stop the cycle, man.
And. And I'll. I'll be real and transparent. I. I did that last year. Like, I literally, you know, I was like, huh? Well, you know what?
We're gonna. We're gonna just slide into the new year. I start in the new year, and it. It costs. It costs. I. I don't think I said this publicly, man, but because I let my weight get so out of control going into this year, I had to put myself on a. On a cut, and that cut lasted for several months. And then when I got to prep, I wasn't able to lose weight like I was supposed to because I didn't prepare in the fourth quarter. Look at that coming back around. If I'd have prepared in the fourth quarter, I'd have hit the new year. Not too bad, and I wouldn't have to do a drastic cut.
And, man, I might have had. Might have had multiple swords back there if I would have did that, man. So that is a lesson learned. That's a, you know, a lesson I'm taking wholehearted this year. Like, my goal this year is I want to have abs all through the holidays. Like, that is the. That is a personal goal. Like, I would.
Thursday, I'm trying to flash abs. Friday, I'm trying to flash abs like that. I want to be. Be that lean, you know, year round and just taking advantage of this fourth quarter. So next year, man, look out.
[00:11:24] Speaker B: Yeah, I. I love the vulnerability, D. Because, you know, in our. Our line of work and in the industry that we're in, I feel like, you know, obviously, when you're on social media, you see the highlight reel of all these personal trainers, but you don't see what's going on behind the scenes. And I love the vulnerability here because I think a lot of folks can relate to that, especially through Thanksgiving that just happened this past week. And leading up to Christmas, leading up to the New Year's, I mean, you're gonna have temptation everywhere. You're gonna have naysayers everywhere, doubters Everywhere.
So I love the. I love the fact that you're really being intentional with the holidays and you're going to try to, you know, get through the holiday. You're not going to try. You're going to get through the holidays with those back abs, you know, and just to talk about, you know, you said it just in a different way of celebrating that loss. Like last year, you. Your fourth quarter was. It was terrible. Whatever. Yeah. But you're. Today, you're celebrating that. Thank you. That I failed last fourth quarter because.
[00:12:23] Speaker A: Now it's not gonna happen again.
[00:12:25] Speaker B: When I lose, I win.
[00:12:26] Speaker A: That's right. That's right.
[00:12:28] Speaker B: You extracted something out of last year's fourth quarter. And that's how. That's how great teams win football games, basketball games. They look at, how do we lose in the fourth quarter last year? Okay, let's not do that this year. Or how do we win in the fourth quarter last year? How do we repeat that or replicate that? That's how winners win. Right? There is. You look at past victory, past loss, and you learn everything you possibly can to gain that competitive edge and apply it to what's coming up.
[00:12:52] Speaker A: That's it, brother, for sure.
[00:12:57] Speaker B: Hey, just. Just a shout out to myself.
Less than a week. I'll be 38 whole years old in six days. Pearl Harbor Day, 1987.
Oh, man, where's the time go, my friend.
[00:13:16] Speaker A: Brother, you're getting close to the. You're getting. You almost ripe. You can get that 40, man, you still look green.
[00:13:24] Speaker B: You know, I. I feel green. And I had a great conversation with a close friend this past week, you know, and he's 63 or so.
He's like, man, I just feel so much better, you know, starting the way lifestyle and I. I graduated with a handful of folks that couldn't do half of what this guy could do.
So, folks, I'll. I'll leave you with that, man. And it's cliche as cliche can get, but age is seriously just a number if you're taking care of yourself.
Longevity is the name of the game. And you can feel good for a long, long, long time if you just do it the right way and take care of yourself.
[00:14:00] Speaker A: Good stuff. Till next time, y'. All, we out of here.
